Gradually restore normal healthy neck and back curvature
User should rest the neck on the pillow to obtain optimal support to the neck allowing the neck and back muscles to completely relax. First-time TranquilAid® users who are used to pillows and mattresses with incorrect hardness rebound pressure (such as those made with foam latex, feather or chemical fibres and coil spring) may need a certain adaptation period to restore their normal healthy neck and back curvature from the proper and improved sleeping postures with TranquilAid®. The length of the adaptation period varies between users. Normally it may require 2 to 15 days. However, those suffer from chronic cervical spine problem would need a longer adaptation period.
Tips for Maintenance
TranquilAid® pillows and mattresses can have a life span of over 10 years with proper maintenance and usage. Although TranquilAid® products have been fully treated with the US EPA approved Dustmitex® anti-dust mite process, attention should be paid to the maintenance of the organic materials. Please put the pillow or mattress under the sun or air it with a mechanical fan frequently. During wet and rainy seasons, use dehumidifier to keep it dry.
It is recommended that only the outer pillowcase is required to wash regularly to keep it clean and hygienic. If laundry of the inner pillowcase is necessary, empty the buckwheat hulls from the pillowcase and put them in a laundry bag. Place the bag under sunlight or air it out for ventilation. The pillowcase can be washed in a washing machine.
The anti-dust mite effect of the pillowcase will diminish after washing. Please contact the sales agent for reapplication.
